BRIDGE FOR PEACE,
hosted by the Wollongong Catholic Charismatic Renewal on Sunday, 21 October 2012 at St Therese Parish (School hall), Powell Street, West Wollongong. Teaching workshop on how to pray for healing from 5.00pm with a Healing Service from 7.00pm. A light supper will be provided for those attending the workshop. Living justly and seeking justice and dignity for all people is a cornerstone of our lives as disciples. And Jesus assures us that all who give of themselves for His sake and the sake of the Kingdom, no matter how much, will be rewarded.

SISTERS OF THE GOOD SAMARITAN
are holding a luncheon on Sunday, 21 October 2012 at Trixie Forest Centre, St Scholastica’s College, Avenue Road, Glebe to raise money for Good Samaritan College scholarships. Commencing at 12noon, cost of $100 per head and tables are groups of 10. Speakers include Krystal Barter, Elizabeth Proust, Malarndirri McCarthy and Cheryl Akle. TRUCE: a 7 week program for young people who have a parent with cancer
This free program, run by Canteen Counselling Services, in partnership with CatholicCare is for young people (14-22 years) to help them cope.

ENCOUNTER – WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
Take time out to consider God’s call for your life and what each of the vocations offer: single life, marriage, ordained ministry and consecrated life. Guest Speaker: Peter Gilmore, involved in youth and young adult ministry, as well as music ministry for over 11 years in the Wollongong Diocese and works as a Regional CCD Coordinator. The evening will include a Q&A panel of members from particular vocational choices as well as time for prayer, reflection and reconciliation at “The Venue”, 18 Cawley Street, Bellambi; Wednesday 10 October, 7.00pm - 9.30pm (includes dinner).
